CIO Of the Fortnight

I was born on August 2nd 1972 in Mumbai. My parents are having origin from district Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh Father had a family business of automobile's spare parts and mother is no more she was a house wife.

I have a very good memories of my childhood as I was the one amongst the notorious children in my compound and most of the time used to be found playing something or the other. I used to be engaged in many sports activities such as cricket, basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis etc. Swimming, exercise and travelling are my hobbies.

I have done all my education in Mumbai starting from schooling in Anjuman Islam School in year 1985, Graduation with Electronic Instrumentations in year 1991, Post Gradation Diploma in Computer Applications and Systems Management- PGDCM in 1992 and MBA with Information Systems in the year 2005 from Mumbai University. Though I was good at other sports also got awarded with trophy for basketball best player. Awarded with merit certificate In MBA with 1st rank in college and 3rd rank in Mumbai University with aggregate score of 80%. And bagged Best Project Award for Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery - BCPDR.

My first job was with Compufield Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai where I was responsible to Manage Corporate Training and Consultancy. It was really a great and a memorable experience. I was excited as I had just completed my Post Graduation PGDCM, and it was first job of my life and my first assignment was to put all the computers in network using Archnet Card, UTP Cable, BNC connector and Terminator in simple bus topology. Then started hands on corporate training in Computer Assembly, networking, programming languages and applications. Major accomplishment was the Project of deployment of 500 IBM PCs with OS Win3.1, Networking and Utility Billing package to MTNL across Mumbai and Delhi along with their staff trainings. And then there was no looking back continue with projects of mailing systems, PC deployments and networking to DBS Corporations, Nirlon Industries, BSNL and many more.

I have been greatly successful in introduction and implementation of latest IT resources and technologies in the company and contributed significantly to the overall growth and profitability of the company by innovative ideas of cost reduction and resource optimization.
